My Fiction

I am an unpublished author.

This is what I have to offer regardless of that fact (AKA stuff I'm working on.)

Novel Length:

  • Faebound (book 1 of ?) - An Urban Fantasy about a florist who would rather not be involved in the paranormal, but, as rule, must. Hence the title. [Currently in second draft mode]
  • Blitz (book 1 of 2) - A Space Opera revolving around a crew of "hired hands" and a blossoming civil war. Meanwhile the daughter of a wealthy business man uncovers a secret kept from her throughout her life. [Also in second draft mode.]
  • Swarm (book 2 of 2) - A sequel to Blitz. With the civil war in full swing the crew of the Blitzer may be more instrumental in its resolution than they expected to be. Meanwhile, a young switchball player wonders whether its worth betraying yourself for a shot at the big time. [Planning]
  • The Ninth Star - An Epic Fantasy about a girl living in a newly industrial fantasy world, who is mistaken for the eponymous legendary mage and becomes sole cause of a long running feud spilling over into the daily lives of every nation. [WIP, and an experiment in plotting only a scene/chapter ahead. Early days.]
Serial Stories

  • Convergence. [Science Fiction] In a freak accident while investigating the moon Hawking, the USEF Swift Justice finds itself merged irreparably with a unknown alien vessel and a flight of one-man Ch-lo bioships. These are the struggles of the crew of the resulting "Halfling". [Episode 1.1, 1.2 = 100%] [Part of the same universe as Blitz]
Short Stories

  • The Waiting Man. [Speculative Fiction] Rather than explain, I'll tell you to go read it on the blog. It's not long.
  • The Seventeen. [Science Fiction] During war, a military operation uncovers a long running conspiracy, and a private is unexpectedly and rudely reunited with his childhood sweetheart. [Complete but unpublished.]
  • The Duchess. [Fantasy 'punk] A female academic takes stock of one of the newest of human inventions, the sky ship Duchess. [Complete, unpublished but threatening to become a much longer work in the same setting as The Ninth Star]
  • That One Blog Post [Speculative Fiction] The post-humous blog post of a teenager caught up in something off. [Complete, unpublished]
